What Is The Common Price For Starter

UNUSUAL ELECTRO-POP

The I do not know what

The Je ne sais quoi - Bye bye strums (video)

References musicales : CDOASS, Gang of four
The Je ne sais quoi - Transparent For You All (mp3)

The Je ne sais quoi is a weird band with a weird name. "Je ne sais quoi" means in French "I don't know what" and "a je ne sais quoi" means "a little something". It is hard to translate it. Hard also to qualify The Je ne sais quoi's music too. I mean this is pop, but not the kind of pop you are used to listen to. Not pop like "popular".

I often use the word "melodic" in Absolut Noise. I will not this time. The Je ne sais quoi are NOT melodic. They are more experimental than most bands. Not obscure. They just follow their own electro-dancing way without thinking about commercial success. And Actually, if you ask me, I really do not Believe They Will Meet one day a huge success. They Are different purpose. Will you love them or hate 'em. No in-between.

PS: Their latest record for you all Transparent was Re-released by Their label Recently Family Affair. Get It There .

To my fellow French

The I do not know what is a strange group with a strange name. No need to translate here the meaning of this phrase in French. Okay, I admit that explaining the term to our foreign friends is not easy. Not easy, the music of JNSQ. Say it is pop, but not the kind of pop that you're used to. No pop like "popular".

I often use the term "melody" in Absolut Noise. I will not do here. The I do not know what is NOT melodic. Rather they are experimental, at least they show more courage than most groups. It does not mean they are obscure. Just the way they trace their electro pop dance without worrying about a possible commercial success. To be honest, I do not think they also unleash a day crowds. But they are different. You hate it or love it. No in-between.

PS : leur dernier album Transparent for you all est ressorti récemment par leur label Family Affair. Achetez-le ici .

Hell on wheels - Baby (mp3)

More than four years after their latest album The Odd Church , Hell on wheels are back with a new sound, a new song Baby and a new record to be released in 2011. Their website tries to sell it as "close to pop". Well, maybe the album does, but I do not think Baby sounds pop at all. And, for once, I have to disagree also with It's a trap where Avi wrote " is it just me, or does it sound weirdly like the Hellacopters? ": to me, yeah Avi, it's just you, c'mon, this has nothing to do with the Hellacopters ! Baby reminds me much more a Rolling Stone tune, or maybe a Jon Spencer Blues Explosion one.

Let's be honest: I confess, I am a bit disappointed. Especially, cause I did like what Hell on wheels released before. But Baby is too classic for me. Too respectful to the rock n 'roll bible. Let's wait to The Whole Album to Be Before though too definite.

More than four years after the release of their latest album The Odd Church , Hell on Wheels are back with a new sound, a new piece and a Baby new album due out in 2011. Their website trying to sell us something like "close to pop." Well, maybe this is the case of the album, but frankly I do not find any that do Baby pop. And for once, I do not agree to a trap where It's Avi wrote " it me, or Is this the song that reminds her of the Hellacopters? "I think, yeah Avi, it's just you, now, this has nothing to do with the Hellacopters ! Baby would rather be a piece of the Rolling Stones and even Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Frankly, the track disappoints me. Especially as I waited impatiently for the return of Hell on Wheels who still laid in the past a bunch of good titles. But Baby is too classic for me. It too much respect for the sacred laws of rock n 'roll. wait, however, the entire album before deciding, you never know.

Third Brother - A little bit of everything (mp3)

The children are playing around the firecamp pretending they are indians. They are listening to a young guy singing some pop-country with its melodic guitar. Some say he was raised in the deep woods of Dalarna, where my darling Dear Euphoria is from . Some others claims he chose the nickname Third Brother because he was the Third Brother out of six.

In the camp, everybody likes nice little history songs, Especially The Sweet A Little Bit of Everything , Shy Love Song With a kind of nostalgic feeling. Soon He Will release his 4-songs debut EP. The Children are looking forward to it. They Say Third Brother Canon Freeze Time When He sings. At least, legend has it at.

To my fellow French

Children play around the fire as if they were Indians. They listen to a young guy singing country-pop with his melodious guitar. Some say he was raised in the woods of Dalarna, where my favorite Dear Euphoria also comes . Some even say that his nickname Third Brother is because he is the third in a lineage of six brothers.

the campsite, everyone loves her sweet little pieces, especially his A Little Bit of Everything , a timid wistful love song. Soon he would release his first EP consisting of four songs. The children look forward to. They say that Third Brother can freeze time within a song. That is certainly what the legend says.

Christoffer Roth - A new kind of love (mp3)

Per Nordmark was right. When I asked him who was his favourite Swedish newcomer in 2010, he answered Christoffer Roth . "Really really good", he added. Well, Christoffer is not a proper newcomer. He has played (or still play) in different bands like Hets or Kriget and produced several artists like Moneybrother . But his first solo album Best in a mess will be out on the 25th of March. A new kind of love is its first single. It was released this week and is the only song from this record I could listen to so far.

I have always consider simplicity was the key in pop music. Mister Roth seems to share this point of view since A new kind of love is just a song with sharp guitar lines, nice melodies and catchy chorus. Simple and straightforward. Sure, the face of music will not be revolutionnized with those kind of songs. But revolution is not always the point. From time to time, having fun is good enough. And that's how it goes with Christoffer Roth music and his funny video. Just enjoy.

Pour mes compatriotes français

Per Nordmark was right. When I asked him who was his "hope Swedish" preferred in 2010, he replied Christoffer Roth . "Very good" he added. In truth, Christoffer is not, strictly speaking, a newcomer. He played (and still plays) in different groups such as HETS or Kriget and has produced several other artists like Moneybrother . But his first solo album Best in a mess released on March 25. A New Kind of Love is the first single. He saw the light of day this week. It is the only piece of the album I could listen to for now.

I always believed that simplicity was the key to pop. Mr. Roth seems to share this view since A New Kind of Love is a piece with sharpened guitars, a nice melody and a catchy chorus. Simple and direct. Without fuss. So certainly the face of music will do little upset, but making the revolution is not always the goal. Sometimes just having a good time. And that's what happens with music by Christoffer Roth and funny video. So what you ask for?

TORPEDO BRAND NEW SONG "WAITING FOR THE FALL"

Torpedo - Waiting for the fall (mp3)

You will not recognize in this post the Torpedo I already mentionned several times in this blog. Waiting for the fall is an excerpt of their second album untitled We , that will be out this spring. The record is described by guitarist Pontus Levahn as "the soundtrack to the apocalypse”. The song (premiered today on Gimme indie radio and planned to be released for Valentine's day) shows a major evolution in their sound since their debut. For the best.

A lot 1980s and a little bit tribal (according to the new Lykke Li , tribal atmosphere seems to be the new shit in Sweden...), the tune is 100% addictive. I confess its three first seconds scared me: they made me think about that . But, eventually, I started to whistle the melody and realized it was probably their best song since their incredibly catchy From Russia with love .

Waiting for the fall manages to sound mainstream without being gross. If the rest of their next album is that good, it's gonna be a killer. Looking forward To The Apocalypse Then.

To my fellow French

you will not recognize this entry in the Torpedo I already mentioned in this blog several times . Waiting for the fall is an excerpt from their second album We , due out next spring. The disc is described by guitarist Pontus Levahn as "the soundtrack to the Apocalypse." The song (aired for the first time today on the radio Gimme indie and whose output is planned for Valentine's Day ) shows how the group has radically changed its since their first album. For the better.

Very eighties hair and a tribal (if one trusts the new Lykke Li , tribal moods seem to be fashionable in Sweden ...), the title is 100% addictive. I admit that his first three seconds makes me a little pinball I thought about it . But very quickly I found myself whistling the melody and I realized it was definitely their best track since racing From Russia with love .

Waiting for the fall managed the feat of being public without falling into the vulgar. If the other songs their next album is as successful as we should have to do an excellent disc. So I look forward to the Apocalypse.
